The Centre for Psycho-Oncology (CPO) is a research unit founded in 2012. It is affiliated with the Université de Montréal and the Azrieli Research Center at CHU Sainte-Justine. The Centre brings together people who are passionate about advancing supportive care and understanding the psychosocial impact of pediatric cancer.

Since its creation, CPO researchers have carried out dozens of projects to better support families, improve quality of life, strengthen the patient-caregiver relationship, and optimize the organization of care.

Our philosophy is grounded in applied psychosocial research, with the goal of making care more equitable and effective for everyone whose lives are touched by cancer.
