Marco Bonanno

Marco completed a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology (2000) and a 4-year post-Master's specialization in Individual and Institutional Psychotherapy in Italy (2005). He continued his studies in Canada, completing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D.Psy) at the Université de Sherbrooke (2018). Over his many years of clinical practice, he has developed expertise in medical psychology, psycho-oncology, and palliative care. Marco currently works at the hematology-oncology clinic at CHU Sainte-Justine and is an associate researcher at the hospital's research center. His research focuses on Quality of Life, transition and survivorship among the most vulnerable populations in oncology. Through his work, Marco aims to develop practical solutions to support the reintegration of children, adolescents and young cancer survivors into daily life.
