Marika completed two Bachelor's degrees at McGill University: one in Physiology (2019), and another in Psychology with a minor in Behavioural Sciences (2022). She is currently a doctoral candidate in Psychology - Research and Intervention, Clinical Psychology option (Child and Adolescent stream) at the Université de Montréal, under the supervision of Dr. Leandra Desjardins. Her doctoral project focuses on implementing the Transition Readiness Assessment Questionnaire (TRAQ) at the long-term follow-up oncology clinic. This project aims to assess pediatric cancer survivors' readiness for the transition to adult care, to better support them through this process.
